Yongfeng Tang is a Ph.D. student majoring in Comparative Politics from the School of Government & Public Policy (SGPP), University of Arizona. His research interests revolve around how contentious online experience can shape netizens’ public opinions and political attitudes in China. He is also interested in authoritarian regimes and contentious politics in China. Yongfeng obtained his Master of Political Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland (Canada) in 2020. He also received a Master of Political Science from Nankai University in 2013. His research appears in the Journal of Chinese Political Science and other journals. Beyond academic research, he likes hiking, play badminton, reading, and cooking.
