SGPP is an innovative school and benefits from the support and input from our experienced and insightful community partners. SGPP is home to degrees in Law, Criminal Justice Studies, Political Science, and Public Affairs. Our school serves a majority female and underrepresented student populations, and we strive to engage the next generation of public servants, both locally and nationally.
The main purpose of the SGPP Advisory Board is to help align academic success and career readiness for students and to ensure that our programming incorporates our community partners in curricular reviews, professional skillset assessments, and career opportunities for students.
The SGPP Community Advisory Board members provide our school with unique opportunities to:
- Contribute to the success of the school
- Make a positive impact on higher education
- Serve their community and engage our students
- Expand their professional network and meet people with similar interests
Advisory board meetings are held biannually, once in the fall semester (to coincide with UArizona Homecoming festivities) and once in the spring semester.
