Until further notice, the University of Arizona, in accordance with the guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, encourages all employees to work remotely. Our office is closed to the public, but all staff will be holding virtual office time from 8am- 5pm, Monday through Friday. Please allow up to 24 hours response time. Jeannine Elisa Relly
Associate Professor, Journalism
Jeannine Relly is an associate professor in the School of Journalism at The University of Arizona. She holds a courtesy appointment with the School of Government and Public Policy. Dr. Relly is an affiliated faculty member with the Center for Latin American Studies, the Center for Middle Eastern Studies and the Center for Border and Global Journalism. Her research focuses on government information policy and press-state relations, democratic institutions, freedom of expression and access to information in countries in conflict and political transition. She also has a line of research focused on formal and informal institutions related to the policy issue of public corruption.
