Until further notice, the University of Arizona, in accordance with the guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, encourages all employees to work remotely. Our office is closed to the public, but all staff will be holding virtual office time from 8am- 5pm, Monday through Friday. Please allow up to 24 hours response time. Elizabeth Palmer
Elizabeth “Betsy” Palmer is a multi-year lecturer with the School of Government and Public Policy who currently teaches classes on the presidency and the Supreme Court. Betsy began teaching at the University of Arizona in the Spring of 2013 after more than 25 years working in Washington, D.C., first as a reporter for Congressional Quarterly then as an analyst for the Congressional Research Service, with expertise in Congress and the legislative process. She received her M.A. from the University of North Carolina and her undergraduate degree from Stetson University in DeLand, Fla.
