Olivia was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, and has been interested in government from a young age -- a passion first sparked by her participation in a 2nd-grade mock presidential election! She is currently a 2nd-year Master of Public Administration (MPA) student, having entered the accelerated master’s program while completing her bachelor’s degree in public management and policy at the University of Arizona. In addition to her full-time studies, Olivia is completing a year-long management internship with the City of Tucson and serves as a teaching assistant in the School of Geography, Development, and Environment.

While she is deeply passionate about community service and finds fulfillment in supporting her community through volunteer work, Olivia’s experience in the Arizona Legislative Internship Program during her undergraduate studies affirmed her commitment to a career in local and state government. "The MPA program has equipped me with valuable skills and knowledge essential for thriving in public and non-profit organizations, providing a solid foundation for addressing real-world challenges."

Following graduation, Olivia is eager to explore various career opportunities in the public sector and is excited about the impact she can make through public service.
