MPA & MPP Capstone Presentations 2026

Every spring semester, MPA and MPP students present their capstone projects to peers, faculty, and our community partners. 

This Spring 2026, we had 7 MPA teams and 2 MPP students present their projects.

Community-based projects for the MPA program included:

• Doňa Ana County, New Mexico - Lizette Ledezma and Mary Kate Fairbanks
• City of Tucson, Human Resources - Doris Mensah and Diana Valencia
• City of Tucson, Employee Retention - Kudiret Anuar
• Tucson Water - Ashlee Mills and Jay Amarillas
• Eller College of Management - Lucy Ingram and Ryan Melendez
• City of Oakland, California - Lucy Caldwell
• The Chamber of Southern Arizona - Erick Lemos and Grady Campbell

Policy Research projects for the MPP program included:

• "Exploring State-Level Immigration Policy: A Cluster Analysis Approach" by Nathaniel Cross
• "Impact of Uncertified Educators on Arizona's K-12 Students" by Bradley Reece
