Elevating Military-Connected Students
The University of Arizona’s School of Government and Public Policy (SGPP) is proud to announce its selection as a member of the Volcker Alliance’s Service to Service Initiative!
The Service to Service (S2S) Fellowship is a premier national initiative designed to help veterans, active-duty service members, and military spouses channel their leadership experience into meaningful public service careers. Fellows pursuing graduate degrees in public administration or public policy gain access to a supportive cohort of peers, specialized professional development, and dedicated job placement networks in state and local government.
This partnership bridges the gap between military service, advanced public service education, and impactful civilian careers in the public sector. Through this initiative, we are empowering the next generation of public leaders to continue their mission of service right here in the Tucson community!
S2S Fellowship Benefits:
Impactful Local Internships
Fellows gain direct, hands-on experience as a management intern through dedicated placements with vital City of Tucson departments:
- Emergency Management Office
