Spencer Lindsay is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the School of Government and Public Policy at the University of Arizona, where his research examines public opinion, racial attitudes, and public support for democracy. His teaching focuses on American political behavior, institutions, and public law. He received his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame in 2023. He also holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin- Madison and an MA from California State University- Long Beach. He has worked on multiple political campaigns and, while an undergraduate, as an intern in the Wisconsin State Legislature. His work has appeared in journals such as Public Opinion Quarterly, American Politics Research, Politics, Groups, and Identities, and PS: Political Science & Politics.
