Until further notice, the University of Arizona, in accordance with the guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, encourages all employees to work remotely. Our office is closed to the public, but all staff will be holding virtual office time from 8am- 5pm, Monday through Friday. Please allow up to 24 hours response time. Frank Hand
Frank Hand holds a Master of Administration with Leadership Emphasis. He has over 38 years of experience in law enforcement and over 30 years with the Tucson Police Department. He currently holds the rank of Lieutenant and is assigned as a Commander in the Patrol Services Bureau within Operations Division West. During his career he has worked numerous assignments at various ranks to include patrol services, undercover work, criminal investigations, traffic, and special investigations. In addition, he is the President of the Tucson Police Commanders Association and has served on the Executive Board for other non-profits. This variety of experience provides for a unique perspective of police community relations.
