About my studies:
Thank you for visiting my profile. I am pleased to be a PhD student in the School of Government and Public Policy at the University of Arizona. I am beginning my second year. Of the five concentrations that the program offers, I am in the American Politics concentration. Reflecting my interest in ethics and politics as well as my background in psychology (BA and MA), I study moral psychology and political psychology. More specifically, I study ideology and partisanship.
I grew up in a blue-collar household in the suburbs of Long Island but, for about the past decade, NYC was my home. While in NYC, I worked as a public safety officer at the Javits Convention Center (2011 - 2015), and most recently as a teacher at the daycare center of Rockefeller Center (2016 - 2019). In my free-time, I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, exercising, cooking, movies, playing my guitar, and am most happy when my company includes various quadrupeds.
