Founded in 1896, the Tucson Metro Chamber is a membership-based business advocacy and community development organization that represents 1,500 businesses, employing more than 160,000 employees in Tucson and Pima County. The Tucson Metro Chamber is committed to being the connector of leaders and influencers, catalyst for business growth, and champion for a stronger community.
- Track local and state elections and candidates
- Research and follow local policy and legislation
- Compile data and conduct research on policy issues the Chamber is tracking
- Write white papers summarizing research and data
- Attend local Board, Committee and Commission meetings
- Assist with various department tasks

Purpose of Internship
Gain experience in tracking, analyzing, and researching policy and legislation by assisting the Chamber’s Business Advocacy department in its public policy and advocacy efforts.

Relevant experience in government, politics, or public administration
