Internship Description: Paid
City of Page is a rural community with high visitation from around the globe. This town of 7,500 hosts almost 4 million people per year from around the world. City of Page has 170 employees, practices fiscal responsibility, and is always examining how to improve quality of life for its residents and visitors.
- General office assistance for Human Resources, Economic Development, Planning & Zoning, City Administration, Finance, Public Works, and Parks & Recreation.
- Assist with projects, events, grants, and general planning.
- Connect with the Chamber of Commerce and learn how their role plays into the bigger picture.
- Connect with the Local Community College and Small Business Development Center.

Purpose of Internship
- Internship is to give the right student a well-rounded understanding of rural municipal governance.
- Allow for cross-platform (HR, Econ Develop, Planning & Zoning, etc.) education and experience.
- Connect with stakeholders from the community.
- Learn more about the local economy and how municipal governments play a role in fueling it.
