Citizens For Free Enterprise, is a nonprofit, PAC that is focused on advancing policies that foster more opportunity, fight to prevent the government from stifling entrepreneurialism and protect the free market system against socialism. We believe that free enterprise is the bedrock of a prosperous society, enabling economic growth, job creation, and the betterment of people’s lives. We do this by engaging with and activating voters passionate about free enterprise and what it offers.

Interns will work closely with the Citizens for Free Enterprise (CFFE) staff to support the organization's mission and objectives. Interns will assist with organizing and executing grassroots advocacy efforts, fundraising activities, planning and executing events, and maintaining relations with stakeholders. Interns will also have the opportunity to develop new skills and gain experience in political campaign management, and event planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist CFFE staff with organizing and executing grassroots advocacy campaigns, including phone banks, canvassing efforts, and voter registration drives.
  • Keep track of local political developments and issues.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination, including logistics, outreach, and materials preparation.
  • Attend and help prepare for meetings and events with community political and business organizations.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to gain new skills and knowledge in political operations, management, and advocacy.

Purpose of the Internship

An internship with our organization gives a student the opportunity for career exploration into an entry level role into political campaign management. This opportunity gives an intern experience on the work that political organizations and groups across the country do on a day to day basis.

An intern will learn:

  • How important good professional communication is
  • The benefits of networking
  • Problem solving , and multitasking
  • Organization, and time management

Agency Qualifications (minimum)

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Arizona college or university program, preferably in Political Science, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communications tools
  • Openness to work flexible hours
  • Access to a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and up-to-date insurance and registration.
