Students should apply for degree candidacy by submitting their graduation application via the UAccess Student Center, (also referred to as a "degree check") after they have enrolled for their final semester's courses. Students need to follow these steps:
May & August graduates, deadline to submit your graduation application is 2/1 after this deadline an additional fee may be charged.
December graduates, deadline to submit your graduation application is 9/1, after this deadline an additional fee may be charged.
1. Register for your final semester and review your degree requirements with your major and minor advisors
2. All eligible students will be notified by the UA Registrar’s office, directly to their UA email account when a student is eligible to submit their graduation application through UAccess Student Center. For detailed instructions click here. The deadline is for submitting the graduation application online, meeting with your advisor is done after you have submitted the graduation application.
UAccess will show you “contact your advisor” after you have submitted your graduation application, please wait and your major advisor will email you when your degree check has been prepared and you will be given instructions on how to schedule your degree check appointment. You should not schedule your degree check appointment through the online scheduling system or attend walk-ins to review your degree check.
If you already have a pink sheet, please see Stacy in SS315 to drop off your pink sheet and to schedule a degree check appointment. Stacy is available Monday through Friday from 10:00-11:30 and from 1:30-3:30.
3. Attend your degree check appointment with your major advisor and review all your major requirements. Your major advisor will sign your degree audit worksheet and deliver it to graduation services.
4. Complete SGPP Exit Survey.
**The candidacy fee is charged to your Bursar's account.**
