About Stephen Cornell
Stephen Cornell is Professor of Sociology and Director of the Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy at the University of Arizona. He also holds courtesy appointments in the School of Government and Public Policy, the James E. Rogers College of Law, and American Indian Studies. His work focuses on self-determination, governance, and development issues among Indigenous nations in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. He also has done extensive work on processes of racial and ethnic group formation.
