Minwoo Ahn

Minwoo Ahn is a doctoral candidate at the University of Arizona’s School of Government and Public Policy specializes in public administration and management. Broadly, he is interested in the relationship between institutional context, collaborative process, and outcome. His dissertation examines the role of perceived uncertainty in the formation and development of a collaborative process using the in-depth case study and the vignette-based survey experiment. His recent applied research has studied collaborative governance in the context of natural resource management and energy policy in the U.S., particularly in watershed partnership, collaborative federal land management, and renewable energy promotion. Before moving to the U.S., he studied in South Korea and published academic articles about local governance and civic participation, organizational theory, and environmental policy. He also worked as a consultant at a South Korean government agency. In this job, he advised numerous local governments to promote smart and digital governance.
