Michael McCamman

Michael McCamman's training is in Public Policy, Public Management, and Statistical Methods and most of his research focuses on American police departments. He is particularly interested in how contextual factors and policies have exacerbated problematic police behavior and how they can be used to minimize adverse outcomes. Currently, he is working on his dissertation which primarily argues that racial biases in policing have been exacerbated by nominally race blind policies that are profoundly disparate in effect.
