SGPP Course Registration

Below is an explanation of who has access to our courses. These restrictions are subject to change AFTER priority registration based on enrollment numbers. If you have any questions please email sbs-sgppadvising@email.arizona.edu.

PPEL, Global Studies, and Pre-Law Access 

PPEL majors who would like to enroll in POL 206 can contact their Pre-Advanced Standing advisor, Sarah Williams by email at sjw7@email.arizona.edu or in person through WiseAdvise.

  • the POL classes they are requesting
Global Studies majors and pre-law minors may request access by meeting with Michael Greeley on or after Wednesday of their priority registration week. To see advising hours, please visit our advising page. If you can't see our advising hours, call 520-621-7601 for assistance.

Gen Ed Courses

The following courses are available to all undergraduate students: 
 
  • PA  150B1 (cannot count towards major requirements for CJS, PMPC, or POL majors) 
  • POL 150C3 (cannot count towards major requirements for CJS, PMPC, or POL majors) 
  • POL 201
  • POL 202
  • POL 203 (not offered spring 2015) 
  • POL 204 

PA Courses

  • Lower division PA courses (100-200 level) are restricted to majors/minors and cross-listed majors/minors only. 
  • Upper division (300-400 level) PA courses are restricted to projected junior, junior, and senior majors and cross-listed majors/minors only. 

POL Courses

  • Lower division POL courses (100-200 level) are restricted to majors/minors and cross-listed majors/minors only. 
  • Upper division (300-400 level) POL courses are restricted to projected sophomore, sophomore, junior, and senior majors and cross-listed majors only. 

SGPP Courses 

SGPP 300A:  Open to CJS, PMPC, POL, Law majors and SGPP minors. Restricted to sophomore, junior and senior level. Offered in Spring only. 

SGPP 300B: Open to CJS, PMPC, POL, Law majors and SGPP minors. Restricted to sophomore, junior and senior level. Offered in Fall only.

SGPP 301 through 305: Open to SGPP minors only.
