Until further notice, the University of Arizona, in accordance with the guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, encourages all employees to work remotely. Our office is closed to the public, but all staff will be holding virtual office time from 8am- 5pm, Monday through Friday. Please allow up to 24 hours response time. Richard Harper
Richard Harper (M.Ed. NAU, BSBPA University of Arizona)– Is a 34-year veteran of the Tucson Police Department who retired at the rank of Captain in 2008. He was the commander in charge of the Training Division for the Tucson Police Department from 2004 to 2008 which included in-service training and education for 1,400 employees and oversight of the Southern Arizona Law Enforcement Institute. He has worked as an Adjunct Faculty Member for Northern Arizona University, Arizona State University, and the University of Arizona. He has twice been nominated as a 5-Star Professor at the University of Arizona and won a similar award at Northern Arizona University. He is also co-founder and past President of the Tucson Police Foundation.
