I am a PhD Candidate in American politics with a minor in information science. I am currently on the academic job market during the 2023-2024 academic year.
My research lies at the intersection of American political behavior and public opinion, with a focus on race and ethnic politics and partisanship . My research agenda centers on the theme “intergroup relations and American democracy" with a focus on intergroup conflicts and cooperations among partisan and racial groups. I specialize in several methodological areas, most notably survey methodology, experiments and causal inference, Natural Language Processing methods, machine learning and network analysis. In addition to my doctoral work, I hold a certificate in Computational Social Science and a certificate in teaching data science. My research has been supported by 23 grants and awards, including support from the Princeton Dissertation Scholar Program, the Polarization Research Lab at Stanford University, and the NORC AmeriSpeak survey panel at the University of Chicago.
My work has been published at the State Politics & Policy Quarterly and Politics and the Life Sciences. I have another three articles currently under review.
