The SGPP Peer Mentors assist our freshmen and transfer students with the transition to the University of Arizona. They assist with new student orientation and transfer socials, plan events for SGPP students, and play a role in recruiting students from the local community colleges and high schools.
2018-2019 Peer Mentors
- Hunter Davila is a senior at the University of Arizona pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Psychology with a minor in Business Administration. Hunter is also pursuing a Master of Legal Studies via the James E. Rogers College of Law's Accelerated Master's Program. Hunter is involved in Arizona Athletics as a member of the cross country and track & field teams. After graduation, Hunter hopes to attend law school to pursue a Juris Doctor in order to eventually enter the practice of law as a private sector practitioner. He is looking forward to encouraging students' pursuit of the many opportunities available at the University!
- Kimberly Guinac Duarte is a senior at the University of Arizona pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Law, as well as a second major in Nursing with a minor in Spanish. She is involved throughout the community joining various clubs and internships. After graduation, she hopes to finish her nursing degree and gain experience to join the US Embassy along with other Federal jobs. Kimberly’s goal is to work in Washington, D.C. She is looking forward to help students succeeded at the University of Arizona and gain experience in Wildcat Nation.
- Kimberly Lane is a senior at the university of Arizona pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Law with a minor in Communications. She is active in the Zumba Fitness community and is a proud mother and wife. After graduation, she is planning to attend law school in pursuit of a Juris Doctor. Kim's goal is to own her own legal consulting firm. She is looking forward to helping students succeed with their college goals.
